Help A Noob!

Hey guys couple of weird things going on and maybe my inexperience is to blame but I was hoping maybe some of yall had the answers.

1.) The tranny is slightly built, but lately in lower gears at low throttle the rpms will climb close to 3k before shifting and shortly after that shift again before im finally in a gear where I get some power. Seems a little odd to me and rather annoying every time im at a red light and it seems to other people like im full throttle.

2.) In park and park only when I give it gas it takes a solid 5 seconds to bog down. however when in gear it seems perfectly fine.

Hope this makes sense and I truly appreciate any feedback.
