FYI..........if you have one of their original kits you may want to contact them for a replacement mounting bracket for the top pump.

They've been cracking on people causing damage to the truck and/or pump. I know of one guy here that already had a problem and it damaged his fan and something else I believe. I suppose due to the vibration and stress from a tight belt... the brackets can handle it.

If you take off your bracket and send it to them, they will replace it with a update version of it. The way to tell if you have the newer version or not is..... the new bracket has a rounded welded piece between the where the pump mounts and where the bracket mounts to the head.

so you have the new one and it cracked too ? Hmmm, it's one solid piece of metal.... I'm surprised it even cracks.

I had a original that didn't have a problem but, I got a new one just in case. Guess I'll need to keep an eye on it to

I went with a Goodyear Gatorback.....

Amazon.com: Goodyear 4081377 Gatorback Poly V-Belt: Automotive

If you want another brand, just look for one with 1377 as the last part of the number. These belts are a little over a 1" larger.... the same number that comes with a ATS kit.

I won't go backwards to that tight belt so if this one is a little too large, the idler pulley needs to be a little bigger which is easily replaced.

I wonder if PPE's serpentine belt is just too tight ? I got sick of fighting with mine so I got a longer belt. Haven't put it on yet but, maybe it will help relieve some of the tension on the pump... will see.
ya, when SourceAutomotive installed mine they went to a longer belt also.

Yeah, he's who told me to check mine. They may have charged him shipping but, I don't think they charged him for the bracket.

They won't send anything out either until they receive the part you're sending for replacement. I needed a new pulley for my pump too... you know how buggered up it was from trying to get that belt on.... they wouldn't sell me a new one until they received my powder coated pulley. I ended up getting a nicely discounted replacement but, they had to have mine first.

You got that "Interceptor Killer" Done yet??? LOL
Not quite yet. The PO PO basher will soon be ready though LOL.

I'm waiting on a few components to come back. It's just a matter of bolting it all together. Just taking my sweet time and doing a little show quality work.

don't worry man.... I think my trucks days of putting a whoopin' on your truck are over.

How's is running anyway ? I personally don't think your ECM is the issue but, you never know.

This freakin Code issue I keep getting EVERY time I drive it is driving me crazy...P0236....But it seems like it is being thrown due to heating up / cooling off....I'll call ya sometime and explain it, but I might have to start replacing sensors..

As for the power though...I honestly can't tell...I just need a dyno run / or a pass down the 1320 to see...

But, at least it rolls under it's own power now!! lol

My ATS bracket broke the other day. It's two years old now so I'm kind of surprised. But ATS still replaced it no questions, and a new gates belt. Just had to email the pictures to them.
But I'm still stuck with a damaged fan....
