Anyone know how to reset the headlight out warning after replacing the bulb. Thing is bright but somehow my truck seems to think it is out.

2013 Ram 3500 Laramie with projector lamps. Replaced with LED

You'll need a 50w resistor or a Canbus canceller.

LED headlights are the cause. Resistor or PWM module or canbus canceller. GTR lighting or Diode Dynamics make good ones that work well.

you'll need to get something to talk with the computer, because everything is connected these days. a 3rd option would be www.headlightrevolution.com But hit up Diode Dynamics first. LEDs use significant less current then your standard headlight which is why it requires something to make the computer think a regular bulb is there, because thats what the computer is looking for. HIDs generally need something similar as well
