ok so i took the three bolts out but i dont want to break anything here. do you have to take the bumper off. becasue the lights were hitting my bumper when i was trying to get them out. and becasue i ddont wannt break anything i stopped. what am i doing wrong?

You can pop the clips off of the adjusment screws and take the light out then the backing plate, or drop the bumper.

If you look where the screw head is the will be a C clip shaped thing that holds the bolt to the light, and lets the bubbled end of the adjusters rotate without actually moving in the light.

no problem just delt with that yesterday when I painted the inner fender and forgot to put the light back before the fender.

D00d, my headlights are dim enough already, I'd be wanting to make them brighter, not dimmer! :doh:
