If so, what brand, how long have you had it, and how's it working out? I have read some terrible reviews of them, concerning water inside them, lights failing quickly, etc., so I'm trying to find a good brand that works well and doesn't die quickly.
This isn't actually going to be used on my Ram P/U, but on my Montana 5th-wheel across the back right under the rear window.

I haven't seen one over 6 months old that hasn't has some sort of issues.

Most of the time LEDs are not working. You'll have a few out here and there. Really odd.

I had a recon on my 2006 F250 and lasted 3 years perfectly with no issues!

WOW. Recon's are the ones to stay away from I've heard/seen.

Be super happy about that! :party018:

I've seen a recon 2 months old start having 2 LEDs not working.

This is a good idea to put on a 5th wheel!

Maybe since the trailer isn't used as much as the truck, it will last longer?

Even if a few LEDs are out or what not - still pretty visible I would think.

Where can I order that factory light bar that goes below the tailgate? I know they come on the dullys and my 2500 has a spot for them, I just want to add it. Is it plug and play???

I have a LED brake light bar on my Snug Top camper yet to wire up. Thinking of wireing it to my trailer brake light wire by the 7 prong plug. I fear putting it on the truck brake light will give me some kind of warning.

I've had the same 60" Recon on 4 different trucks over 7 years. Other than the plastic yellowing a little, it operates perfectly.

A few on here people have done this, including myself. I got mine on eBay, and the part number is 55277299AA. There's also a writeup about it here.
