Upon my of my truck purchase the dealer told me the computer had been replaced for warranty reasons. I thought no big deal, but when I have tried to plug a programmer to it diablo sport predator just to try it. It shows a code that says "cal_id" not in archives. Just wondering if this is a factory code to keep programmers from being put on or if the serial number on the new computer just doesn't show up in the approved numbers that the programmer allows.

you will probably have to update your predator since the ecu is new and updated. Thats what i had to do with mine when i got my ecu reflashed by dealer

It could also be that your new ECU hasn't been completely setup by the dealer that put it in. I know with Smarty that it wouldn't work if the VIN wasn't programmed into the replacement ECU. Try updating your predator first, but if it still doesn't work, it's probably the ECU.
