Alright so all the sudden my truck has been having strange starting characteristics.

After it sits over night or for a few hours it takes more cranking then usual to get her to fire.

Usually i give a little blip of the throttle once and she fires instantly.

now its a a couple blips and a good amount of smoke once it does fire.
also acts like it has a misfire then clears up in a couple seconds.

I havent dove into it yet. everything looks normal under the hood and no smell of a fuel leak.

Anyone have any ideas?:banghead:

Does it seem like its losing its purine over night? Does it do it no matter how long it sits? And when it stats is it smoke like when you run them out of fuel and it has to get the air out of the system?

fuel pressure is 35 at idle.
30psi under moderate throttle.

does sort of seem like its losing prime.

it seems like it takes about a whole night of sitting for it to occur.

once its fired up i can kill it and re start it without aproblem

you just have the stock lift pump or do you have an electric pusher pump as well?
