H&S pyro power source question

Where are you guys getting 12v power for the pyro PCH board? Instructions say to connect to keyed power, but I'm not sure which fuse I can tap. I already have the Mini Maxx connected to one fuse (can't remember which number right now) and am wondering if you guys are tapping another fuse? If so which number? What if I spliced the two power wires together? Good idea or not? Thanks for the help.

Sorry, forgot to mention it's the Universal Pyro kit.
I run mine of the same fuse as the minimax not one problem .

I ran mine off another fuse I forget which one it was close to my minimaxx fuse, u can run it off the same fuse tho , I just didn't like that idea.
When you guys say run off the same fuse, are you splicing the two wires together or adding the fuse tap to the other metal prong on the same fuse? Outdoorsman, any chance you could give me a fuse # you tapped? I don't have a multimeter he
You can out them in the same fuse that is fine. I have mine on the same fuse (M33). You can crimp both wires into your quick connector. You might have to get a larger connector because the one H&S supplies with their kits really isn't big enough for both the power wires for the mini maxx and pch board.

For you guys running off the same fuse...Have you had any problems? Blown fuses, etc?
I'm interested in this too. I'm about to install my pyro on my 2012. Wasn't sure if u could run it off the same fuse as the mini maxx without any problems.
Been running my mini maxx and pyro the same as Outdoorsman and haven't had any problems.
Been running them on same fuse for over a year no problem. I have 2 pyros going into the pch board also
Where are you guys mounting the universal pyro pch board, under the hood or under the dash? I haven't had time to look at it yet but are the thermocouple wires long enough to reach under the dash from the rear block off plate on the ex manifold? I'd prefer to get it "indoors" vs leaving it under the hood, thanks.

I think the wire would be long enough. I have had mine under the hood for years though with no issues.
I tied my two wires together. So the power for the obd is fused off the truck fuse box and the pyro is fused off both truck and supplied fuse. I think its #33 for my 2012
