ho is 10 more horse, slightly higher compression, i dont know what internally is different.

I am fairly new to diesels. I just bought a 2001 dodge diesel quad cab long bed. I was wondering if someone could tell me what is the differance between the two motors . PLease let me know thanks.

Also, if I am not mistaken I believe that the 03 and 04 HO did not have a catalyst>
