Confused on the shims under the idle spring. Do they need to come out or not. Cant seem to find a clear answer on here. If they are supposed to come out, does that include the wear washer too? thanks!
+1. If I left them out the nut would have had to be threaded down past 0.050" before is engaged the retainer. I left the shims in and it clicked the way the stock one did with the same amount of threaded rod protruding. It runs and idles perfect.Left them in, everything runs and idles perfect.
