I have an 06 2500 4WD. When it is in 2WD cruising down the road and I let off the accelerator, there is a slight grinding or scraping noise coming from under the truck for about a brief second or two. It sounds like it is coming from the transfer case. I'm new to these trucks and don't know much about them so any help is appreciated.

Get your hubs checked. I had that happen and I blew a hub.
