In the past week or so I have noticed my fuel pressure has started to fluctuate drastically at idle. I am talking sometimes the quad shows 0 it bounces all over the place from 0-5 while at a stop and idling but as soon as I start to move it clears up and shows 9-10psi. I have also noticed that while driving in the city I can let off the throttle and the pressure will be just fine at about 8-10psi. So the only real issue I see is at idle and stopped.

Could it be the wild torque management pulling too hard on the stock pump and when I start moving the CP3 helps by pulling fuel also and that is why my pressure goes back normal?

Also say my lift pump craps itself, how long will the CP3 pull its own fuel?

Fuel pressure...sounds like you lift pump is just dying...

The CP3 will fuel itself but I wouldn't run it that way...period.
