I'm shopping for a '08 Ram 2500 right now :$: and I was wondering if the stearlership I'm talking to is giving me a good deal, or if I need to whip out the ole' astroglide. Looking at a '08 Ram 2500 CTD, manual, 4X4, SLT. Sticker says $44,260, but they offered it to me for $31,958. I told them to throw in a set of nerf bars and a toolbox, and I'll trade with them. Sound like a good deal?

I'm also gonna do some mods on it as soon as I leave the lot. Looking at a CAI, BAPD DPF delete kit with the 5" exhaust, a EGR delete, a Edge Juice w/Attitude, pyro, boost, and egt guages, tires and wheels. Anything else that you guys can think of that should be done? This will be a DD, and the only hauling it will so is a 2800lbs boat a few times a week.

dont foreget the heavy duty floor mats, sound like a good deal
Fuel Pump-FASS, Airdob, etc., etc. Sounds like a dang good deal. What did they offer you for your trade-in?
I'm trading in my wife's '02 taurus....lol. We just don't need it anymore. She'll take over my '02 Eddie Bauer Explorer, and I'll drive the truck. They are gonna give $2500 for the car, which is exactly what I gave for it last year. Now the only thing I have to decide on is to finance it, or pay cash...I don't think I'd save much more by paying cash.
sounds like a descent deal to me.
$12,302 off msrp sounds good to me, I would be happy with that.
MP-8, Don't forget the MP-8.:peelout
I was upside down on my chevy by 4.5k, they paid it off at about 15k plus I got the truck at 35k, which the list price was at 47k. I'm happy with what I got, even if it wasn't the absolute deal of the century, just glad to be out from under the chevy POS!!!!!!
By the way, did I mention I absolutely LOVE MY TRUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:woot::peelout:woot::peelout
sounds like a good deal to me too. is it a quad cab?
yeah...it's a quad cab
Talked to the sales manager today. They have several similiar trucks, and they can make me the same deal on any of them. They are also going to throw in the toolbox and nerf bars. This particular dealership also adds their own 20 year/200,000 mile warranty to every vehicle they sell. I don't have the details on this warranty yet, but I was told it covers the powertrain. Now I just have to get my money from the Veterans Administration...hopefully the check will be here in the next few weeks, but who knows with the government...especially the VA
20 year/200,000 mile warranty? That's one hell of a deal.
What dealership are you dealing with and where is it located?

That sounds ok. There is about 8k in markup. 1500 in hold back. 4800 in rebates. You should be able to get it 12k below sticker. I negotiated half of the dealers hold back on mine. The trucks are sitting on the lots for 6 months and every month its there is another interest payment.

When I bought my truck sticker was just shy of 52K, I ended up only paying 38K. Just have to find the right dealer.
Paid 33,000$ for mine !! Plus they pulled ahead my lease. Sounds like a good deal to me !!
