Whats the best way to take the eblems off your truck?
Heat gun/blowdryer and some fishin line. Just heat the badge up and grab a piece of fishin wire and run it between the badge and the truck. I used degreaser to get the rest of the 3m tape off the paint but i have heard many different substances you can use to get it off. Good luck and lets see some pics when youre done :thumbsup

I like to tape off a square or section surrounding the emblem with the blue painter's tape.

The tape will help protect the paint.

You can use a heat gun or hair dryer to heat up the adhesive of the double sided tape, which will help to release the emblem easier.

You can also high some 30-50 pound fishing line to saw through the backside of the double sided tape.

on a warm day in the sun, use your fishing line to "saw" through the double sided tape.. then use plastic razor-blades and GOOF-OFF for the adhesive removal.. works really well, although it is a lame, messy and time consuming job...
plan on spending basically a good part of the day because once you are done you will want to claybar, polish, and wax the whole truck... (trust me)... the results are worth the labor IMO...

De-badging

I got a plastic putty knife, and carefully worked it behind the emblems on a warm day. They came right off. I then used a rubber wheel (sold at Napa for just this purpose) on my drill to take off the remaining adhesive tape. Wash, wax, and you're done. You can do your whole truck in about an hour.
