im not trying to sound like a d!ck but i did my fair share of research before i bought my truck and understood alotta things about it and what i had to do to it if i wanna know something its more about something serious not if towing mirrors will fit or if i can run 35s on my truck with a leveling kit and all that other B.S. just my 2 cents

Lighten up Francis!!! Isn't it just as easy to not read the thread? Everyone started somewhere and was a Newbie at one time or another. Maybe, rather than post about the [email protected] search function, reply with the info or MOVE ON!!! Jesus Christ guys, am I the only one who remembers their humble beginings? Try being a little more open and understanding, kinda makes people feel more accepted and comfortable asking questions. I can't wait to teach people what I know (doesn't take that long but, I'm still willing to help without the negativity). The world is going down the toilet, lets not help speed it along. Dave.

even if there is 30 different threads about "will 35s fit with out a leveling kit" or "how do i roll coal" theres still going to be a couple of new answers or some new information on what ever the subject is. i use the search feature on here and some times it helps...but most times i have to read through about 4 or 5 pages of results before i find what im looking for...if i even find it. and you can always count on one or two people in each thread saying "use the friggin search button gawrsh!!!"

I just skip over stuff i don't want to read. Many times it is not a simple yes or no answer like it looks and a member may provide additional info with an answer that wasn't covered in earlier posts.

this is why we have been trying to create new threads that cover most of these questions, then we sticky them with the good info. after that y'all can link to the newb asking the questions.

There is no cure for newbies failing to look at the sticky's and the search. Better to ignore the posts than get upset, or answer them without any sarcasm.

this is the 3rd thread in the 94-98 non powertrain section that has been about how somebody is annoyed about the forum not there 94-98 cummins but the forum so i figured i would post what annoys me sifting through off topic threads where they shouldnt be if you have a gripe post it but post it in the off topic section this is worse than every noob asking how to roll coal atleast 1 out of 5 of them actually take the chance to learn about there truck so i would say i am most annoyed by these threads in this section ki thought we all registered fo cummins forum not drama forum imo sorry if i offended anybody

Ya, were still here to help one another out. Although there are a few that need their people skills honed a bit. Personally, if I'm asked the same question repeatedly, I'll answer it repeatedly. I also agree that it can become slightly irritating if you LET IT. Just remember back to when you were the one asking the same old questions, and someone reminded you about the f*ckin search function. Always makes me want to smack someone in the god [email protected] piehole! Kinda adds insult to injury in my mind anyway. I've even read where someone said the 12v is the new honda civic (referring to how many kids have them). Sounds great to me, rather have them driving a Dodge than a POS honda (no capital for honda, f*ck'em). I'd also like to point out that yes, sometimes these threads are good for a laugh, just try to remember to keep it from getting too out of control. Always here to help, Dave.
