OK so I have decided to rebuild the top cover of my getrag. I know I should convert it to something else but I dont have the cash for that now so I decided to do this. I cut a hole in the floor to access it instead of pulling the whole trans out, and removed the cover. I got new shift forks and detent balls and springs. I tore it apart and like an idiot I was not paying very close attention wo what direction the forks were facing when I pulled it apart. It seems like for 2 of them there is only one way that they can go and have the things that the shift lever sits in line up correctly. Is this the case? The other question I have is that one of the roll pins that holds the fork to the shift rod was broke. Is this normal? I think I have it all back together how it is supposed to be and will be trying to stick it back in tomorrow, is there anything I need to know about putting it back in that would be strange or a trick to make it easier?

OK since there is no pictures of this stupid thing anywhere let me ask this, is there only one way that 2 of the forks will fit on the rods with the sliders (the things that your shift lever actually contacts)? Just looking at it makes me think that the the forks and sliders on 2 of the rods will only fit one way and have the roll pin holes line up.

Hey guys i know its been a while since this thread originated but I'm desperately trying to find a place to purchase the roll/spring pins on the shifting fork in my G360. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
