I have a 06, and I was curious if anyone has done a gear swap to get better mileage? I have downsized boats (and it is going to stay that way), so all I really need is about 5K in towing, and I am running (I think without looking) either the 3.73 or 3.8?...whatever came stock.

I can remember reading in the past of people doing a swap and getting mid 20's and higher mpg. Anyone hear do this?

if your running a stick its 373next size up would be 342 which would work

I am running the 4-speed auto. I know that I have the American Axles, so is there a known gear provider that would have the needed gears for a swap?
