Send the pod back and get a dash mount or pillar mount. I have he dash mount and like it alot. Here's a pic--

Shaggin, what paint did you use to paint your pod? I ordered the same gauges w/the dash pod. Geno's told me there is no paint that matches.

i also would like to what paint works

Do I wire power into the dimmer circuit or to 12 volts?

Orange with brown tracer. As the plug is facing the same way it fits into the back of the headlight/dimmer panel, it is on the top row, 2nd from the drivers side. The orange with black tracer is right next to it on the far driver's side. :thumbsup:

This helped me out with visuals, since Im not exactly the electrical genius Slagburn is.

Gauge Installations at DieselManor- 2008-2009 6.7L Cummins

For power to the gauges you need a switched 12V source. I used the large pink wire with the yellow tracer in the 100 pin bundle above the parking brake. To power the lights for the gauges you conect into the dimmer switch. As slagburn noted it is an orange wire with a brown tracer.

PLEASE NOTE----- There are two of these orange wires with brown tracers in the same bundle. You'll need a test light to find the one that dims with the dimmer switch.
