what are you talking about? you mean a DPF back exhaust? if so, then you are wasting your time and money. Do a DPF delete. H&S sells them for pretty cheap, or find the thread about making your own for 99cents
I think he wanst to just get rid of the dof/cat and leave the OEM downpipe.

You will be ok doing that. That first cat still is restrictive...but you'll be getting rid of the worst parts.

:ditto::ditto:
you want to eliminate all 3 devices for best performance
Yep, if you are going to do the DPF delete you should just go for gold and do a turbo back system or at least the downpipe and dpf delete pipe.

no i mean the dpf delete but not the full just the pipe.im wondering how much it would be of a diffrence would it make diffrent if i did the whole down pipe back? or would it make the same as just the pipe
It makes a difference to eliminate your OEM downpipe as well.... how much difference , maybe not enough if you want to keep the truck convertible.

I recommend doing the downpipe as well since the DOC is another form of restriction. If you are just looking for ease od installiation with concerns toward the warranty then the DPF delete pipe would fit you best.
