Hello just trying to get the truck started after a bunch of engine upgrades. Having a heck of a time getting fuel to the injectors after having the pump off the truck and putting in new delivery valves and injectors. Also did cam, lifters, pushrods, valve springs, lift pump, sump and head studs.

Just starting to see a bit of fuel coming out injector nuts after at least 30 times running the starter for 10 seconds. When I tighten the nuts though it won’t start. Also should mention valve lash is set and timing has been moved from 13 to 18.

Today I noticed some type of sensor or transducer that is unplugged, thought it may have been from the mechanical lift pump that I removed but now I’m not so sure.

Will post a picture soon just wanted to see if there is any ideas out there

Your picture isn't working and you say you removed the mechanical LP? If you did then that's why it won't run.

What kind of lift pump do you have?

I do not recognize the sensor, but the photo is so close up that I can't tell where in the engine compartment it is! A photo from farther away would be helpful. BTW, you can see the photo by highlighting the url, hitting control +c, then open a new window and hit control + v to put the url in the new window and open it!!!

Stock lift pumps have a fuel heater and pre screen mounted with them.
Most likely the wires when to the fuel heater.

IMO what ever you replaced the stock lift pump with was a waist of $ :$:

Take a shop vac and move the hose to the blow side and shove it in your filler neck. Then crack the inlet banjo bolt on the pump to bleed the pump. Then bleed the injectors. Fire it up and and bleed injectors again.

Sorry, but I wouldn't advise anyone to blow air into the tank from a shop vac. Maybe a brand new one that has never picked up debris, ever. Using 15 psi regulated air to find fuel and air leaks works well though. Never heard of bleeding a pump. Which one, how and why? And last question, why would you bleed the injectors again if the engine is running?
