Ok, i'm going to ask a stupid question as i'm still learning.

Is it normal for fuel pressure to be lower than normal when its colder outside?

Mine usually runs between 7-9 psi, no matter what i throw at it. But here lately since its been so cold (single digits and teens), its running between 4-8 psi. It idles at 8-9 psi, but on take offs it can drop to 3 or 4, and it hovers around 6 when cruising. Just changed oil and both fuel filters so i know its not a filter problem. 65k on the truck.

Any thoughts? :confused013:

Yep its normal. Cold fuel is harder to pump. Mine doesn't dip quite that low, but it will drop to 5 pretty easy.
