my fuel pressure sensor will show 17 psi ome min then drop to 0. ive checked my fp. everything is ok wheni hold my finger on the plug for the sensor it holds steady. would that mean my sensor is bad, if so where do i find a new one and what do they usually cost\

If I were you I replace the fuel pressure the low pressure sensor with a mechanical fuel gauge. You don't want to smoke that $900-$1500 VP-44 from low pressure. Get rid of the stock liftpump too. These are not even worth their weight in scrap iron. Stock liftpumps fail all the time leaving the driver stranded. Because it usually trashes the VP shortly after.

I have the air dog fp100 I also have edge juice with attitude. It's the plug at the vp44 that I think is failing I wiggled it and it jumps fp I know my fp is working I took th line loose after the pun and it flows like a cow pissing on a flat rock. The plug and and I'm guessing sending unit run are the ones that go to the monitor

Water hammer damage possibly?

I don't trust electric gauge because of the likely-hood of failing and showing false high reading which is typical. If it was me I would re-test the pressure with a mechanical gauge.
