Every time i come to a stop sign or red light and then take off again my truck sounds and feels like its not getting good fuel so when I finally got my fuel pressure gauge installed I can see that the fuel pressure drops from 30 psi all the way down to 0-5 psi but picks back up about 10 seconds or so later.. I have an air dog fuel pump.. Could it be going back or what? Anything helps thanks!

When my truck had the air dog installed the suction tube was cut too short so my truck runs out about quarter tank so when it gets close and i come to a stop and all the fuel comes to the front of the tank it will suck air until its get fuel again.. But I never let my truck go far below half and the pressure still wants to drop and studder

How long ago did you put the air dog on? Has your truck always done this since the install or did it just recently start?

okay so my new valve came last night and i installed it this morning and right away i noticed that it did seem to run a bit smoother so i took it for a test drive and came to a stop light and took off again and the pressure dropped to 0 and came back up again.. not sure what it could be?? my fuel pressure was about 2-3 psi more with the new valve.. anything helps thanks!!!

It's got to be something in the tank. When you stop/start, all the fuel goes to the front/back of the tank. That lets air in your pickup tube, which then drops your pressure to nothing.
