Anybody got instructions or helpful insight on how to do this with a dremel in your garage? I try to do as much as possible myself with the rising cost of everything, and have tons of tools. Any information would be helpful. Thanks Matt
Start in man. How I began some years ago. Many used a chain saw, but I used the Cutting wheel on my Dremel, then polished the same with the real super fine stone.
You can cut it how you desire. I began with the same profile and worked it deeper, then, later, when I realized the engine would NOT blow apart, began cutting to change the profile. It makes a difference. You could see 40-50 HP I would guess.
I bought my first one from a diesel shop and then began cutting. I no longer use them myself as other mods gave way but you'll have fun making your own.
