have 2003 dodge 3500 dulley 5.9 cummins 141,000 mi. 2 w/d automatic . started loosing power , changed fuel filter ran good 30 mi. then same thing . shop removed f/tank re plumbed fuel line riged another filter then cut f/line on frame rail and placed in line f/filter . ran great for 200 mi. then same thing ,replace main filter again . run good 50 mi. back to same problem , feplaced filter for 3rd time driven 150 mi still have fingers crossed , thinking about installing AIR DOG / need inpute and help BOB

Sounds like your lift pump could be on its last leg, did the shop replace it or just put another filter on? Did they check fuel pressure and volume?

Mine has this same thing it runs good for a couple of days and then loose power, replaced fuel filters and good for a couple of days... let me know if u find something, I will be replacing the lift pump with an air dog soon, my has 125k miles.

check the fuel pressure to the cp3. Also any codes?

thanks for reply I'm going to visit the shop and ask if they replaced lift pump . can you be leave no problems since i ask about my problem hate that you know its going to return bob
