Hey guys what should a 97 ram 3500 12v bone stock get for fuel mileage? track is extended cab dually auto matic bone stock except for 4 inch exhaust and Bhaf filter. ive only had this truck for a few months and it'sa total pig compared to my old powerstroke.

oh and both truck trucks have 3.55 gears

When mine was stock (3.55 gears) I would get 18 all around. Ive never been below 17 and knock on wood I never will be.

i had a 97 dually 2wd...before i upgraded it get 21 to 22 running 80 all day long my 95 4wd got over 600 miles to the tank but now it turned up

My 96 gets 17 MPG in mixed driving. I am hoping for better when I replace the slushomatic and set the timing.

Mine around 15 around town. Never had it on a trip without pulling at least a 5600 pound trailer and then it got 13.7. The same loaded with 4760 pounds got 12.5. Flat ground mostly between Mobile, AL and St. Augustine, FL and return.

Going up north tomorrow (all uphill, Mobile to Huntsville) 360 miles empty goin and grossing about 18,000 coming home. We shall see.

i get 17

i have a 98 with 12v motor and im getting 17 to 19 around town and its a dually 4x4 with 4;10 gears and stock so far but the tranny has been gone through and upgraded alot

96 auto single wheel with 3.55s here and i get 15 between highway and town... lots of stop lights for me though :'( yea im hoping for quite a bit more with the new trans, intake and a few more fuel mods. poor convertor has like 30% fluid coupling at the moment.
