Fuel Mileage question

I got rid of a 7.3 powerstroke back in January and really miss my diesel. I need it like I need a hole in my head but that's another story. Anyhow, I like what I hear about the Cummins so I'm giving them a look and have located a 2006 2500 Mega Cab 4x4 Laramie with a 6-spd manual transmission. What kind of mpg's are ya'll seeing out of a set-up like this?

What Are You Pulling ???
What gear ratio is it? If it's 3:73 , then you should be close to 20 on the highway with rpm's under 2k.
A pressure box will help.:thumbsup
Towing should be around 14 depending on the load and your foot weight.
My dad has an 06 6speed and is now getting about 20 on the fwy with a Smarty Jr and driving at 2200 rpms, he gets about 18-20 in town and 10-16 towing depending on load.
i get 18-20 on the freeway, bout 17 in town... completely stock, except for wheels n tires... i would get it!! i love mine!! cept the fuel prices... BS!! have a good one.

Nothing that warrants a diesel but I loved my 250 and just want another one. I pull a 20-ft trailer with my tractor once or twice a year and hope to buy a camper in the future. I pulled my tractor last Friday with my 150 and could definitely tell a huge difference. Like I said though, no more than I pull the 150 is fine but I just want a diesel. :thumbsup

I found it on the web and it's about 75 miles from me so I'm not positive yet about the gears. I'll definitley ask before going to look at it if I do. I'm mechanically ignorant when it comes to vehicles and would basically leave it stock with the exception of adding things that would improve the fuel mileage.
if l were to buy again it would be a 06...
