ok.. what's the furthest anyone has ever gone on a full (not topped off) tank of fuel.

I am at 490 miles with 1/8 of a tank remaining. Trip computer show me at 20.9 (was at 21.1) on a recent trip up to the Tigard area, over to Clackamas and back home. wit slightly oversized tires and speedo at 70 most of the way.

never tried to see how far i can go with one tank.. best i have ever seen was going to winchester bay empty truck one way got 22.8 mpg.... going about 70 the whole way never stopped completly....

Made it to lake Billy with a loaded truck and pullin my boat doing 70 plus and home again on a tank.

I used to fool myself with the topoff game. I have never actually driven nice and easy for a whole tank. Partials yes. Commuting running errands and screwing around I used to routinely go in the 550 range and then take on 33 gallons or so. Sometimes better sometimes worse. The overhead is allover the place. The only thing I can count on it being is wrong :lol3:

holy crap, I should get my speedo recalibrated, usualy 350 is pushin it. but im also not rackin as many miles on the odometer as im actualy puttin down

I am afraid to even know my truck get crappy with a capital "C" millage like 12 if I am lucky. And I got a friggin SO motor!!!
