so I am about to change my fuel filter for my first time. I can’t see the white label but have looked at pics online and the drain valve has multiple star ends unlike the stock only had 4 ends.
I also have found the Cummins emblem molded into the canister.

There is no chance this could be another brand like Napa is there?

Should be. Can’t remember the brand but I used to have two different black canisters. One was Cummins and the other was from a part store that the company used. Might’ve been wixs. I had two filters on truck and filtered from my drag tank. I usually order from genos garage about six each not to have to keep up with the other can.

I went to Napa and had them pull one of their canisters. They are fleet guard brand.

Think there is three different styles when they “update “ or “ upgrade” to the canister. You should be able to see which one is most like yours. Might be able to see the back side using your phone camera.
