Pardon the newbie question here,but I have a '94 12v 2500 4x4.

I am unable to discern ( both from Haynes manual and by visual inspection (as rigid lines have been replaced by rubber lines)) if the lift pump feeds the fuel heater or the other way around.

Does it go:
Fuel tank >> Lift Pump >> Fuel Heater >> Fuel Filter >> IP?

or

Fuel Tank >> Fuel Heater >>Lift Pump>> Fuel Filter >> IP?

Thanks,
-Rob

nevermind...

Joe George's fuel system write-up indicates the heater/prefilter is BEFORE the lift pump.
Feel free to correct me if this is wrong.

(thanks Joe)

This is the right way, and yes JoeG's the man!!
If it was the other way, pre filter/fuel heater would leak rather than suck air.

Rob,

Email me at [email protected] for my write up on the 12 valve fuel supply system, how it works and how to fix it.
