Mine are almost bent "backwards". They arch up, rather then down like the rear leaves. Is this normal? The truck is a 1991 model year, W350. Nothing adding any extra weight on the front yet, but I would like to maybe add a snow plow, but worry that the springs won't like that.....

Opinions?

You could go to a spring shop and get them re-arched. Some guy's do this and also add an extra ply to give them more strength also. And you will gain more height on your front end. Mine are pretty much straight if not a little on the down side.

One of these days I would like to get some new springs, but I really don't want to lift my truck over what it was when it was new, It's my daily driver and my tow rig. I got a big CJ for playin with.

Thanks for the replys. Does anyone know if the Rock Auto springs are any good? They seem cheap enough, but I wonder if they hold up. I think I might call around to some spring shops and see what it would take to get some made to a little heavier duty specs. I'll let you all know what I find out.

when you pull the weight off them they arch back down a bunch. i put an add a leaf on mine and that gave me about 2 inches, almost level. it was 82 bucks shipped. took around 4 hours to put on. we'll see how long it lasts but the price was right at the time
