I have a 2007 2500 4x4 with the 5.9. The truck only has 45K on it and already my front driver side hub is shot. What manufacturers out there make hubs for these trucks that actually last? At Napa, the new hub assembly is like $257 and built in mexico by SFK or SKF? Anyone have experience with these?

Is it possible to just replace the bearings within the hub? I find it to be a joke that you have to buy this whole assembly with ABS sensor just replace something as simple as a bearing. I'm not gonna be happy if I'm gonna have hubs going bad every 45k.

Wanna hear from the guys who know the best bang for the buck out there.

The Napa part I got a quote on was their premium part and only provided a 1-year warranty. I only put on about 20k per year, so a 1-year warranty doesn't mean anything to me. I'd go and buy that part today if you said you had 100k on it with no problems.

Timken? I'll look into it. How many miles have you put on that hub?

I'll be calling Oriley's tomorrow. $162 with lifetime warranty sounds like a deal. I wonder what company builds the part.
