Well I finished my deletes today with the mini max with pyro and sinister egr valve and cooler delete. I only got to take it on a short test drive but WOW what a difference it doesn't even feel like the same truck. I cannot believe I stalked this forum reading everything I could about the delete and was on the fence for so long about doing this. Anyways Looking forward to putting some miles on it now and am already planning for the trans tune and head studs.

Congrats on the deletes. Just did mine a month ago and I agree what a difference. I bought my first CTD about a year ago and I am not real sure while I waited so long either. The deletes really wake her up.

Congrats on the deletes. Be sure to always let your truck warm up before you hammer on it or it will be spitting coolant out in no time.

Have any of you guys driven your trucks with dpf present tuning before deleting?

The tunes are the same, deleted vs present. Only difference is the deleted tune has dpf/egr logic disabled...

I'm just curious is all.

Congrats on the deletes...I am newly deleted too and what a measurable difference...installed the pyro that I have had sitting here for about a year because I did not really want to drill and tap a hole in the manifold...I too do not know why I waited.

I picked up my mini maxx in yesterday. Only having it 1 day it does seem like a totally different truck. I like it a lot. I will be doing the deletes when the weather gets a little nicer here

The performance tune for emissions present is 120 hp and emissions removed is 175 hp I believe. I have been running performance timing 4 ATT and emissions present tuning.

I think most of what the OP is noticing is the higher horsepower tune and not the delete. Ryan Milliken has gotten a lot of power out of a Duramax with all emissions still on it.
