Our race team owns an FL60 with a 5.9L and I wondered if anyone would know what differences there are between the 5.9 in the FL60 and the 5.9 in my 02 2500. We run the weight in our 48’ trailer right up to max and could really use some more power. Any suggestions would be appreciated?

Overall its going to be the same 5.9 that cummins sells to everyone. They just use different pumps and tunes.

What type of pump is on it? VE/P-7100/VP44?

Good question. I'll make a run over to the yard and find out. Are there any other specifics that would be helpful to know?

cpl or esn would probably help. If its a newer engine with the VP44 it would probably help to get anything you can off of the ECM/PCM
