Does anyone make a frame repair section for these trucks. My dad's 2006 that he bought new the frame rusted out truck only has 163000 miles on it. But we live in Pennsylvania

I vaguely recall there are frame repair/fabrication shops in the east coast that cater to these kind of repairs.

Personally, it's a parts truck. No modern truck is worth sinking that much money/work into.

I am able to fix the truck myself none of my trucks ever been to a shop for repairs or work. I just wanted to know if anyone made a frame repair section I know they make them for jeeps and f150.

I live in Ct. and see this all the time. If there aren't a bunch of other spots I'd fix it and be done w it. They don't make patch plates like the older/smaller trucks as far as I've seen. It shouldn't be to bad to fix. There are probably other spots, you may as well find them and deal w them while your at it!

Believe it or not the rest of the frame is clean same way with the cab. Just that spot on the frame and the bed is shot.

Yeah probably what will happen. I got a 5 gallon bucket of wools wax I spayed my 2nd gen with going to do my 4th gen next
