FP Gauge on Airdog?

910 Views 6 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  DodgeMech
I tried searching but apparently something is wrong with it?? Anyways I was wondering if there was anything wrong with using the port on my Airdog 100 to hook up a fuel pressure gauge? I like this idea better than splicing the fuel line to insert fittings into, and getting a tapped banjo bolt seems kinda silly where I've got high flow fittings only to get something restrictive right before the fuel enters the IP. Your thoughts?

You want it as close to the filter as possible. to be the most accurate. your pressure right at the pump could read high or low
Don't you mean as close to the VP44 as possible and between it and the filter?
