Kinda hard to word the title but I'm looking for the formula to figure out what a specific nozzle size will support hp wise. Like a 7x.012 will be enough fuel for X amount of HP like what we can do for airflow.

You would have to have them flow tested. If you could find out cc's then you could guess kind of. Really though it depends on your pump more I would think.

I don't think that's what he was asking..

I have no idea of a formula but if your good with the search features somewhere there is a table that charts all the different injector sizes.

It's just the CSA. It won't help him. He needs to get them flowed as stated. I wasn't sure how, but as josh put LPM

Yeah I have seen that chart. I would have thought by now there would be enough information out there on injectors where there could be a formula for it.... So it's mostly a guessing game to size your injectors to your engine? I wish it were easier than that!

I would look more at your pump. You would benefit from 13mm B&P. The 215 pump cam is good and with the13mm you could really increase your rate of injection per degree of rotation and make more/better power not to mention how much more cc's the 13mm will flow.

it is, contact a builder. and tell him your goals. there will never be a set formula as there are too many variables when building injectors......every builder has their own tricks to the injector.
