Has anyone used fleece shock tower plates or similar with a cut Coul spring or 1500 springs?

If so what shock did you use. I have them now and if I cut the spring or install the 1500 I will be left with little or no travel in the shock.

I can't be the only one...

I'm also curious and want to do this. Looks like there is very little travel left in the shocks that fleece suggested for stock height.

What part number did you use?

I don't remember I put them on about 6 months ago but its the ones they had listed for stock height. I think I remember them being for a ford f350 when I put the part number in. Also had to buy a bushing and shim kit for them.

When you lower yours are you planning on cutting the front springs or 1/2 ton springs? And on the back are you going to use lowering shackles?

Not trying to derail but what size tires are you running now, 305/50? And if you lower it more what will you run?
Yes I'm running 305/50r20 and still plan to run them when lowered. Looks like there is plenty of room.

Y not use the balistic fab shock towers they bolt in they cost less than shocks.... then you would have more shock options or could use the shocks you have ....is there some thing im missing. Seems like putting the plates on is the problem not the shocks.

1/2 ton springs in the front and lowering shackles with my blocks back on OEM spot.

Because I want the plates. Theyre a clean look and allow more room for me to clearance by twin turbo set up. The plates are powder coated and look very nice. They are not going anywhere. I simply want shorter shocks that I can lower the truck with.

Ok I understand you just like the look and want more room than you need and want to deal with the lack of shock options. you do know these blastic fab towers arent taller than stock towers. And many people have dual turbos with both stock and extended tower. But good luck with your search.

Dude don't be a Smart @$$ want more room than you need and want to deal with the lack of shock options. If the guy wants them why do you care; besides I like the idea and think on tight Twin setup's this will help:buttkick:

I run the ford f250 shocks and they are almost too short but they work great. Bilstein would make something for it.
