flash?

new to the cummins, mine is an 08 DRW 4x4 6spd manual ... stock. i see a lot of talk on here about "flash" updates from the dealers. can someone enlighten me a little as to exactly what this is?

flashes are new software updates for computers. being an 08 you should be at flash level AP. Congrats on the truck!!!! :beer

thanks... how do i find out what flash level im at? dealer im guessing?

yep - or there should be an update sticker under the hood somewhere if anything has been done before you bought it.
