So when i picked up the truck (4 days ago) i noticed several swirl marks and a chip in paint. Made an apt to have that taken care of by the dealer. My question is, for the chip in the paint, will it be done right? Will it be sanded and filled, primered, painted, and blended to the rest of the paint?

Also my TPMS system was only reading two tires, front pass and driver rear. That will also be getting addressed.

Lastly my bluetooth (phone calls) the other end cant hear anything im saying. I can hear anyone very loud and clear but they cant hear anything im saying.

Truck should be done on wed, hope it turns out good and wont have to go back for anything else.

Assuming it's a chip, there's only one way to correctly fix it, and that's sand it down, feather the edges, prime and paint.

I can't tell you anything else on the repair without knowing where the chip is and seeing exactly what it is.

"Touch up" paint is not acceptable.

the chip is behind the rear door on the driver side on the lower section of the door. its a small chip, i hope that when i pick up my truck i dont find a glob of touch up paint where the chip was originally.

+1 on crappy clear coat....i have several marks on mine from day one.

Also, you're best bet for TPMS's is to have them replaced. Preferably getting them at America's Tire or someplace like that. I dealt with the dealer for nearly a month and they had my truck 4 times, and then wanted to keep it for 2 days to troubleshoot the issues. They reset and reprogrammed the sensors a couple time, replaced the RF Hub, and each time I got it back it was fine for 2 days but after the 2 days the driver-side sensors went out again just showing dash marks on the screen. I called and they said they would try replacing the sensors all together, but found out they are currently on backorder and would be nearly a month or so before they could get them. So i went to American's tire and ordered some OE replacements. They are designed a little different with the valve stem included with the sensor and i think they have a stronger/higher frequency. I have not had any issues since going with them.

Thanks for the info, Mine started about 3 hours after leaving the dealer. If i get it back and the issue still exists ill just go to american tire and order some. How much were yours if you dont mind sharing?

Mine happened on the way home from the dealer as well.

They are $55 each, so sucks to pay for them, but I was tired of messing around with the dealership. Plus, I'm still under warranty so if these ever go bad I have options now. I can go to America's Tire (first choice) or get some warranty replacements from a dealership.

Well got the truck back today, Swirls are GONE!! however they did not fix the chip like i thought they would.. looks like they touched it up and sealed it with clear. I can still see clearly that something was there. So i brought it up and they immediately responded with thats not under warranty.... Long story short i spoke with their manager and they will be sending it to the body shop to have it fixed correctly. They had to also order me a new mirror with microphone because mine is not functioning correctly. Overall i am very pleased with the good job they did on the swirls, the paint chip will get fixed so im not too upset about anymore. I will try to post a pic later

They are on backorder. I took mine in yesterday for the same issue. Dealer said Chrysler told them to replace all 4. So, waiting on them to come in.

I might just buy them from american tire. was told they were only 55 bucks.. Just dont want them replaced by dealer and 1 week after replacement they need to be replaced again
What year is yours? I looked, but can't find sensors for the 2014-15's. The dealer told me that Chrysler changed the sensors in 2014, which may be why I can't find them.
Sensors are on back order, and not even certain they will correct the issue. Replaced mine with America's Tire OE replacement sensors for $55 each and been issue free ever since. Yeah, it sucks you have to spend money on them, but my time is worth money as well and I had already given the dealership 4 days, and they wanted to keep it for 2 more.
