Just filled up for the first time since delete. I averaged about 12.1 mpg before (hand calculated) and got 15.3 on the first tank. Keep in mind that I have been playing with the Edge and power quite a bit! I love it!!!

I'll bet you were glad to see that number :thumbsup
I got 18.7mpg(all mpg hand calculated) the other day on a long highway trip running at least 80mph the whole time. This is way above the torque peak rpm, so I think the truck may be capable of 19-21 under perfect conditions(flat ground at 65mph). The best I got before the delete was 15.5mpg.

It's amazing what happens when you remove all that junk isn't it?:woot:
god! i got to do this, just this whole damn warranty thing.
these things are plugged up so bad, once they get opened up its wonderful. You never wanna go back.

The 100,000 mile warranty is still good. The stealership has to prove that the modifications caused the failure. Besides, from what I understand, the warranty only covers the internals... bearings, rods etc. of the engine. The chances of loosing one of these in under 100,000 is minimal.

Glad your happy with DPF delete and the Edge Juice. Was that mpg mostly Hwy driving or a mix of Hwy and City driving?

Got the 5" stainless DPF delete, S&B and Edge Juice with Attitude from PDI. EGR block offs from K2. Not sure where I will get the MP-8 yet, but it is very soon to come.
Is everyone with the delete getting about 3-4mpg more? I was told not to do the EGR block till BADP came out with a fooler box?? Sounds like everyone here is doing both delete and EGR block with no problems, am I missing something??
Seems like you are making the right assumptions. I have had the DPF and EGR deleted with the Soft codes for 12k miles. You can always upgrade.
Will the edge chip delete the soft codes from the EGR delete? I don't want my truck to throw any codes, soft or not.

I have not gotten any codes so far. I have the Edge set to clear on power up.

Yes the Edge deletes the EGR soft codes:thumbsup
K2Diesel,
Has anyone had problems with the Edge and thier fuel rail pressure? I had a 05 5.9 and had the Quadzilla and messed up my fuel system. I just don't want the same results from any electronic devices on my 6.7.

No, it is not a pressure box so there is no danger of excessive rail pressure:thumbsup
K2Diesel,
Sorry but I'm not up to speed on these boxes but what does it exactly do to increase power? Is it timing/boost fooloing?? I'm continplating beetween the Edge and MP8. I've heard the MP8 is undetectible compared to any other box. I'm always taking my truck in and I don't want to void my warranty. However I'm installing the BADP next week. Any sugestions? Again sorry I'm not up to speed. Many thanks
It does timing/duration. Even though the MP-8 claims to be undetectable, it is if they try hard enough. Nothing is 100% undetectable.

I would start with the Juice with Attitude. You will get the gauges that you need anytime you are adding power and also built in safety features such as de-fueling should your EGT's get too high.
K2,

I've heard the dealer can read the keystrokes when the vegicle goes back in the shop. Does the Juice earase keystrokes? I'll be calling you sometime in the near future to order. Many thanks for your quick response.
