Finally got some hooks on my new motor, tire, & gear setup in Franklin Indiana Saturday.



(Yes, I know the inside wheel is rusty, and that I need to paint it)

Dave Goerend has got the LOOOOOSE converter thing down pat, I can spool this TN charger with NO issues at all now, VERY happy!

We had some issues with the alternator which are now fixed. I have TOO MUCH fuel and should have injectors Thursday.

The first hook was made with a 100 plate full back, with the AFC full back. The Star wheel was at 25% back of full forward.
I figured all I could do was tighten the starwheel up to reduce fuel for the next hook, so I tightened it to 50% back of full forward. As you can see, it made a difference.
the third hook, I tightened it completely and it improved again, but I botched the end of the hook as I was worried about running the battery dead as I waited in line, I didn't have the TC lockup switch in my hand, so I didn't unlock in time.

I never hit 3rd gear. Once I get the fuel reduced I should be set and be ready to bridge the 40+ foot gap between me and first place in street. It should be an awesome season!
