Hey guys, hopefully you can help me out here.
I have been wanting to convert my 1990 w250 with the 360.I have found a 12v Cummins that I could possibly switch to. My question is, what all is there that I will need to change. I’ve read a couple threads saying the wiring should all line up. But I’ve seen stuff about the leaf springs and such.

another question, the gasser is 4x4 and the Cummins is 2wd. How will the drive shafts and such work with that?
thanks

Your transmission won't work with the 12v and the drive shafts won't be heavy enough. As long as you don't beat on the truck your axles will work. The 12v only needs 1 wire to make it run and if you use a pull cable to shut it off it won't need that. You can put your sensors on the 12v so your gauges will work, you'll need a Cummins radiator.
