I need a cover to lock up the back of the truck, i was thinking of a Lear cap, they have some nice ones, but my bro in law has a snugtop fiberglass cover. its pretty nice looking too, anybody here have some pics? or suggestions. I could use a tool box too, but hate to drill holes in the bed. Is there a way to attach a tool box with out drilling? Any pics?

I have a pace edwards rool top tonue cover. It locks and they also have a tailgate lock that works with your door locks. I'll post some pics after while.

got a Leer 700. White on white longbed truck. Bought used, needs some polishing. Looks good. Great fit w/ overlap on tailgate so don't need a lock on the tailgate. Single key lock on Leer.

Kinda heavy/awkward when installing it. Clamps onto inside lip of truck bed.

I tried contacting Leer w/ some questions via email off their website. No response which I find very irritating.

I have a Roll-n-Lock that came with my truck...I like it. It lockable, to a piece that goes on the tailgate...Of course any determined bad guy can get in, but it locks and keeps out any curiousity seekers....

But I think I'm a "cap guy" at heart..trying to decide if it's worth it to get a cap....

Leer's quality has dropped alot over the past 7 years. My local Leer dealer stopped selling them and only sells ARE and Swiss.

I have a Swiss, which I like because it is made good and was inexpensive.

I had an ARE on my old 2001 2500, and it was built very nicely, but was alot more in price.

from using a fiberglass one on a previous truck i owned i dont like them. when you have to get in the bed or want to haul something its just a pain in the . you tend to throw everything in the back seat cuz its easier. i would go with the roll top if it was me.
