FBD 5" Turbo Back installed.... Did it in my garage. Pretty easy. (do yourself a favor and read the directions BEFORE tearing into it):coocoo Sounds every bit as good as my bros 5" Magnaflow at a fraction of the price.

I agree, it has to be one of the better sounding diesel exhaust I have heard, if not the best.

Ease of installation was pretty decent, beat spending the $200 bucks the muffler shop wanted to install it. SO I figure I made about $50 bucks an hour that afternoon.

Is everyone here that is running the 5in using a muffler as well?

I have the stock DP and 4 in to the stacks and would like to upgrade to 5in.

No muffler or cat here and i also went with the 6" tip...

Are you planning on going to a full system and getting rid of the stacks? Sure does help with noise in the cab with a full system.. i went from the 5" to dual 7" miters back to the 5".. And never plan on changing again..

I ordered mine with the muffler. Idle is a low rumble, not loud tho, but when you hammer on it it SCREAMS! Mine also came with a couple adapter pieces to re-install the cat, they were left unused of course but might come in handy here in Utah if I pick the wrong place to have it inspected.

I'm not running stacks, but I am running a FBD 5" Turbo back with muffler. No complaints here. Quiet when I want it quiet, and loud when I want it loud! :lol3:

I could be wrong, but I think most the guys running stacks aren't running a muffler...
