I can hear the Fass pump running but no pressure. I called Fass they said I may have got some bad fuel. Try changing the filters. I have always purchased filters online. Is there any major auto parts that sell filters I can use on a Fass 150 series pump? What brand and number do they sell? I'm stuck in Perryville, Maryland. HELP!!!

The fass filters shoukd have numbers on them. Call napa and get replacement filters. They shoukf be able to cross them.

I always get mine from napa. I think the older pumps use a different filter. I got 3405 and 1202

There are not many auto part stores around here. None in walking distance. I wasted half the day calling auto part stores trying to cross reference filters. I looked on fassride.com and found a Fass dealer about 15 miles from my motel room. They had the water separator but no fuel filter. I had to talk a taxi company in to picking it up and bring it to me. I filled the new water separator with fuel and loosened the fuel filter to bleed the air out as Gene Brown at fassride.com suggested (I got his phone number off Fass' website). The fuel pressure is now 17 psi. The same as it has been since I installed the pump back it 2008. The truck did not start and it was too dark to do anything else tonight. I plan on bleeding the fuel line at the vp44 in the morning. I will need some more tools if I need to bleed the injectors. I will post my progress again tomorrow. Hopefully I will be back on the road heading to New York. Thanks to everyone that posted the replies.

When I changed my filters I had to crack the lines on mine. I always carry a 3/4 or 19mm wrench with me just in case

I think I got the worst filtration out of anyone here. I got a ff5588 10m and a fs1023 144m. woops on my part

I purchased the truck new in 2001. I have drove it all over the US. Never a problem not even a flat while on the road. I often carry a toolbox. This time the cab was full and left it at home. That want happen again. From now on my toolbox will be the first thing I load.

I bled the fuel line at the vp44 and three injectors this morning. After getting both batteries charged the truck started. I plan on being in New York tomorrow and back home in Texas by Sunday. Thanks again.
