fan clutch wont come on.

Truck is in the sig. Getting hot and fan doesn't come on. Installed a new fan clutch still a no go. What turns on the fan? Also can i just pin it and have it on all the time?

Electronically controlled and a few items will tell it to lock. A/C as stated above, also Coolant temp sensor.

Are you throwing any codes?

It does take its commands through ECM, usually throws codes, but one of the common issue is the harness wiring in first step checks

Check your fuse. I think it's a 10amp
