Turn on the air conditioning then walk to the engine with the hood up put your hand at 10 or 2 oclock above and behind the fan shroud. within about 45 seconds it should come on .

fan clutch wont come on.
Truck is in the sig. Getting hot and fan doesn't come on. Installed a new fan clutch still a no go. What turns on the fan? Also can i just pin it and have it on all the time?

Did you do the test?
Check the wiring from the under truck connector to the fan clutch. A blown belt or poor install takes out the wiring.
