I have a 2006 ram 3500 and I have experienced false overheating issue during warmup on the road. Pulled over and checked things out under the hood with no issues. It seems to last about 30 seconds to a minute with the Edge CTS alarming and then The Gage falls back to the warmup temperature at the time. This condition happens intermittently. I replaced my radiator back in December (Mishimoto) but this issue has been within the past month or so. I also replaced my temp. Sensor a couple of years ago.
Anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like air in the system, or a sticking thermostat.
