My Expandit 5" and my dad's (same kit and trucks), both weren't right...They said it was for a Quad/short-bed, but it was clearly for a Quad/Long-bed. I just installed it the best I could to get it to my local exhaust shop, had them cut and weld where need-be..and it looks great now! You should be able to get your local exhaust shop to cut and fit the way you like it for under $100 or so.
That's what I'd recommend doing.
Mine and my dad's both look better than if we had just pieces them together...b/c we could have the exhaust shop angle the tip, etc...the way we liked.
